Da avido appassionato di trasmissioni radiofoniche quali sono, non potevo non restare coinvolto (come ascoltatore) nella rivoluzione apportata dai podcast [1] nell’ascolto quotidiano di materiale audio registrato. Prima dell’avvento dei podcast, se volevi ascoltare una trasmissione radiofonica non avevi molte alternative: o utilizzavi la radio (ammesso che tu potessi ascoltarla quando mandavano in onda ciò che ti interessava) o programmavi qualche gingillo elettronico in modo che la registrasse per te, permettendoti di ascoltarla in seguito. Essendo io anche perecchio “geek” [2], parecchi anni fa ho trasformato il mio vecchio computer desktop inutilizzato in un server audio, tuttora in funzione e in egregia funzione: si apre ad un’ora X, registra i miei programmi preferiti dalla radio tramite una scheda audio esterna dedicata (per avere il suono più pulito possibile), li salva in formato mp3, tramite alcuni script fatti da me vi aggiunge i tag ID3 e la copertina (anch’essa opera mia) adeguati, e si c
